Actress Manju Warrier has been signed on the female lead opposite AjithKumar in AK61, and she is expected to join the set in the next few days.

We earlier saw Manju warrier in Asuran Pairing up with dhanush in an important role and she was been praised for her role by critics & audiences.

H Vinoth is in need of a fresh combo for this film and hence he decided to go with Manju warrier would be perfect for the role he had in his mind. So he approached Manju on this project earlier this year.

Currently the shoot of this film is happening in hyderabad where they will replicating the massive set involving Chennai’s mount road.
