Actress Masoom Shankar Gorgeous in Latest Photoshoot Stills

90ml Actress Maasoom Shankar has been roped in to play one of the leads in Santhanam’s upcoming next film, directed by Prem Anand.

The film, which is touted to be an psycho thriller, and will have Maasoom shankar portraying a negative character role in that film.

The pretty actress says that she has been waiting for a meaty project like this to come her way, and also admits she’s quite kicked about her part.

She said
“I play a French-Tamil girl from Pondicherry. It is a very strong & exceelent part and I am playing a character with some grey shades in a negative type of role. My look in this film will be upbeat and so stylish, but the character will be poised and have some different variations”.

Maasoom Shankar says that she also learned French for the film. “Actually, I know a bit of French. But I learnt the language in the right way for the character. Also, we had a French tutor on the sets, who explained the meaning of some words and pronunciation and i mugged them up and ensured I spoke like a proper French girl (laughs).

I think after my12th board exams, this is the first time I learnt something rapidly,” she smiles.

This upcoming film also features Pradeep Rawat (Fame of Ghajini, Thotti Jaya).

Adding it to that She says, , “Myself & Santhanam have a lot of scenes involved in this movie. He is so much funny when the camera is not rolling and was supportive during my scenes. He appreciated my works a lot.”
The film is being mostly shot in areas of Chennai and Pondicherry. “I also have a lot of action sequences involved in the movie, which involve ropes and cables. I am happy that I am pushing my boundaries by doing roles that demand a lot from an actor,” says Maasoom, who also has another Tamil film in the pipeline “Shooting Star” Featuring R.G.Jayadusshyanth.
