After 20 years India and Australia once again enter into the finals of the ICC ODI Cricket World cup. So finally we’re at the end of this tournament who’s gonna be a winner of this ICC Men’s Cricket World cup 2023. Finally India and Australia are into final encounter.
Indian team is unbeaten since the start of the tournament mostly some one sided matches for them. May be the match against Kiwis and Australia are a bit tough one. On the Other side Australia had some close encounters in the tournament. At the start of the tournament they’re bit lazy and slow then they bounced back in roaring style.

West Indies has done it twice at the ODI World cups in 1975 & 1979 with the help of Clive Llyods captaincy. After that India beat West Indies in 1983 Final against West Indies. India claimed thier first title under Kapil Dev’s captaincy and on the next edition in 1987 Australian’s emerged as the winner in that ODI World Cup.
Then in 1992 Imran Khan lead side Pakistan emerged as Victorious in that world cup beating england. In 1996 Srilankan’s emerged as winners with the help of Arjuna Ranatunga. Then on 1999 Australian’s entered into the fort in ODI World cups from 1999 to 2007 and consecutively won the world cup for thrice. One on 1999 in Steve waugh’s captaincy against Pakistan and in 2003 against Indian team in Ricky ponting captaincy later in 2007 against Newzealand.
Australia is the only team to claim three titles continuously. No other team has achieved this feat.
But in 2011 Indian team beated Australia in quarter finals to claim the title against Srilankan’s. Then again in 2015 Michael Clarke led team won the ODI world cup against Newzealand. Here comes the team which introduced cricket to the World yes it’s obviously England won their first title against Newzealand in 2019.
Then we will have to wait for New World Cup champions before the end of this day.
Yes We all know that India and Australia entered into the battle of Finals in this 2023 world cup.
So far Indian team entered the finals thrice and won twice whereas Australia reached finals 7 times and claimed five titles in their account.
Definitely The most dominating World Cup for India so far….!!!!
