Merry christmas is an upcoming movie which stars Vijay Sethupathi & Katrina Kaif. Initially the meet as strangers who meet on Christmas Eve day. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and is a Hindi, Tamil drama-thriller.
The film has been promoted with separate trailers in Hindi and Tamil. In both iterations, Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif portray strangers who cross paths on Christmas Eve in Mumbai. Despite the initially smooth encounter, a visit to Kaif’s apartment triggers a series of alarming events, ultimately leading to a homicide investigation.
- The Hindi interpretation of Merry Christmas showcases Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand in supporting roles. Meanwhile, the Tamil adaptation stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kavin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams.
Raghavan alumni Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar (from “Badlapur” and “Andhadhun”) make brief appearances in both films.
Merry Christmas was supposed to come out in theaters on December 8, but it’s been pushed back to January 12, 2024 due to a busy release schedule.
