Indian 2 is an sequel to the Yester year blockbuster 1996 released film “Indian” directed by Shankar which stars Kamal Haasan, Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar and Sukanya in lead roles. Apart from them this film also featured with Goundamani, Senthil, Manorama, Nedumudi Venu, Kasthuri Shankar, Nizhalgal Ravi and Ajay Rathnam in pivotal roles.
This film deals about corruption in India.
Kamal, as Veerasekaran Senapathy, is a retired freedom fighter who rebels against corruption in India. This puts him in conflict with his son, who lives by corruption.
